Our Story

The Blind Pig Butcher is brought to you by Jay and Amber, first-generation farmers and the proud owners of 840 Farm—home to the largest Mangalitsa pork farm in the United States. What began as a passion for raising animals the right way has grown into a mission to bring better food to our community.

At 840 Farm, every animal is raised humanely and fed an organic, soy-free, corn-free, NON-GMO diet. We believe healthy land, happy animals, and responsible farming create food that simply tastes better. With this philosophy at the heart of everything we do, opening a butcher shop was the natural next step.
